Re-tracking
Just to update anyone who is interested - the live stuff that we recorded on the night was not really up to par, so we have been re-tracking all the original songs at Marcels place.
Jake managed to squeeze a morning in to do his vocals whilst Adam and Marcel have been doing most of the donkey work... and I have been getting all emotional and stroppy to make up for everyone else's cool demeanor!
Last time we got together Marcel happened to have a Focusrite Producer-Pack preamp on rental so we got some lush vocals and guitars down on tape (or hard drive as it were).
Things are sounding very professional to say the least and I am about to start on the cover art.
I am wondering about enabling a Paypal button on the site with which people can pre-order the CD - anyone think that is a good idea???
We could certainly do with some capital to go to press with... may be I should stick a donation button on here to!?
